We were happy to be chosen as part of the Dannon Blog Tour from Mom Central. Now, in the Loonyverse, we’re happy to review any tasty product or good company. We’re even happier to do so when that good company is doing something good to help others.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In honor of that, Dannon has been putting codes on the lids of some of their yogurt products. From now (or more specifically, September) until November 30th, every code that is entered into the Cups of Hope web site, 10 cents will be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Dannon has pledged to donate at least $50,000, but hopes to get to $1.5 million. C’mon, why don’t we all help them get there?
And of course, we hardly have to mention the yumminess that is Dannon. I DO want to mention, though, that while a lot of brands have those skimpy little cups that are barely even snack-worthy, the Dannon yogurt cups are actually big enough that you get more than a taste. I pretty often take a yogurt and some fruit (and, okay, perhaps a snack cake), and it’s more than enough for me.Our local Kroger had six packs of Dannon yogurt on sale, so we got a pack in each of four flavors (vanilla, blueberry, strawberry, and peach). Check your local market to see if you can get a deal too.
I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour campaign by Mom Central on behalf of Dannon. In addition, I received a gift certificate and products to thank me for taking the time to participate.
