Random thoughts.

We’re calling this better late than never since I am counting the minutes til bedtime.I had time to randomize earlier but not the inclination- I was too busy having a personal little pity party while plotting the demise of my temporarily craptacular circumstances. I’m over it. I pretty much roll that way- have a major pissy fit (usually at the top of my lungs tossing bombs at whoever is brave (or dumb) enough to be in my way – then I am back to looking for the good in life. Mostly the good wins but if I try to hold things in instead of getting them out nobody and nothing in my path is safe.If you are depending on others to keep the levels all checked (in your car) don’t stop nagging when they say they will take care of it- nag the hell out of them so you don’t seize up in a very inconvenient place. Just sayin’.I think it should be a punishable offense if you leave your mother’s closet door open when there’s a puppy on the loose. A puppy who eats every dang thing including glitter (should be interesting potty breaks for the next couple of days, anyways). Memo to self- find a way to get new sandals and flip flops before Hawaii.You know you aren’t going to have your best day ever when SOMEONE forgets to make your coffee for the morning.Especially when the idiot dogs hear some neighborhood dogs barking and start going berserk almost an hour before your alarm goes off.I actually just like to whine sometimes (I know, right? but I do.) Not very often as I totally believe in LOA but I am human enough to like bitching and moaning now and then.Both of Dev’s pics placed in the regional competition. What’s funny is one was taken with my digital camera and the other was taken literally 5 minutes before class. Both are awesome, she’s got some mad skills.Ki is over the moon with wedding plans. Earth to Kyra- FOCUS.More but this is long enough I better stop so I have a little bit of time to visit some of the other random goodness. Totally Random Tuesday- Betcha Didn’t Know and FREE YOGURT

How nice I am. So nice that where others say they have a mean streak, my kids say I have a nice streak.

That instead of a good imp or bad imp (or an angel and a devil) sitting on my shoulders tempting me, I have 2 lil’ devils. This from the sweetest woman in the world, my mother in law, who adores me.

That the new puppy Max has already incorporated himself fully into our home. Oy, who needs or wants 6 dogs, but he’s a prissy little diva and fits right in with our f*cked up family.

That Kyra is going to spend next week in Virginia on the beach and we’re all totally jealous. Her sisters are planning on replacing her sunscreen with itching cream so she doesn’t have too good of a time without us. (KIDDING)

Dawn and Casey start UCA next week already- I’d ask where the summer has gone but it’s right here kicking our butts with 100+ degree heat.

Dev’s almost ready for her senior year to start, but she’s a week behind the college girls.

My baby (Groucho) was lost for a few days- first time ever- and he does NOT like the cruel world. Shih tzu’s are notoriously hard to keep well groomed anyways but after 3 days wandering he came home matted and with a fish hook through his lip poor poor baby. We’re slowly cutting the mats out and getting the stinky swamp smell off of him but it’s a slow laborous process and his tail and paws are so tightly bound it’s unreal.
The best we can figure is that someone found him because we got a call (girls had passed out our number) day he was lost and he was gone when we went to retrieve him so we think he escaped and then somehow got turned around and couldn’t find his way back home. He was found a little over a mile away when some people were docking their boat. They were going to take him home because he looked so lonely and pathetic but then saw one of our fliers and called so he’s back safe and sound and with the most hideous haircut known to man. We’ll forever be grateful to the couple who returned him to us.

I haven’t done a real post in so long I won’t try to catch y’all up on everything, just a little bit of random and play along with We want to know Wednesday hosted by Mamarazzi and Alicia aka Queso.

I’m 3DG obsessed again (I go in spurts) here’s my current themsong: All I want is a little of the good life, all I need is to have a good time. Enjoy!

School starts on the 13th already- shortest summer ever. UGH. They didn’t even end til June 6th or so.

We’re going to Hawaii- well 4 of us are. Not sure when but paperwork was sent in after being notarized on a trip win. We have a year to go so we’ll see where we can fit it in the schedule. Anyone know any must-do’s when one is on Oahu?

It’s so hot it makes it really hard to be motivated to do much of anything. When it’s too hot to grill and you live across from a lake it’s too freakin’ hot.

Well apparently 5 dogs aren’t enough because we took on a 6th. Casey and Derek rescued him but can’t have him where they are so we get another. He’s pretty cute, looks like doggie from How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Now to find him one of those lopsided antler dealios and a sled and we’ll be set for the holidays. Naturally, his name is Max.

A blogger I want to spend the day with in real life? Well, you can look at my sidebar, anyone I put there deserves to be there for a reason- I put buttons for extra entries but the blog list is where I put the bloggers I want to visit with so when I am online and doing the blog thing I can get to my faves in a hurry. If I have to play favorites I will say Julie from Momspective because I know we would have a blast together.

I wish I was saving money, all the extra (hahahaha what’s that) goes to just living & medical bills.

Stress? Who has time to be stressed? Kidding. Laugh, dance, play with the puppies and play my music really loudly and sing REALLY badly. Oh blowing bubbles for Ian and the dogs is a riot- if you need a good laugh blow bubbles for some dogs and kids.

Quick update & We Want To Know Wednesday

Sorry for being out of the loop for so long- so much has been going on- good and bad but all FINALLY working out for the best! that we’ve been terribly negligent with the blogs and visiting your blogs. Hopefully that is at an end.

Just a quickie update then I am going to jump right back into WWTKW because- we’re nosy, and we want to know, too.

After hospital vacay hospital and more hospital I seem to be stabalized- finally- yay.

3 older divas are all going to UCA this semester- and Dev starts her senior year in HS- yay.

Something really horrible that happened resolved in our favor without us having to reach down in the gutter like some people- and it is better than we could have possibly hoped for had not the ugliness happened in the first place- yay, yay, yay!

Dev’s 18th birthday is Sunday, July 3rd and she’s having a retro kiddie party complete with some of her fave fave fave luncbox treats from back in the day when we were so broke it was a super special time when they were snuck in- Uncrustables, Lunchables, juice boxes, individual snack cakes and chips and we’re making a giant cupcake for face smashing purposes and cupcakes and those dixie cup individual ice cream cups or the giant variety pack with cones, bars, cups etc- as well as some fave childhood toys- hula hoops, bubbles, pinwheels, those blow up balloon thingamadelios, frisbees, balls, water balloons, etc. Everyone coming is uber excited about the theme- doesn’t take much- it’ll be at Toad Suck Park so lots of fun for all!

1. The last thing I searched for online was movie times for Dev

The state I am living in now- Arkansas – I would say go play at Toad Suck Park- or Toad Suck Daze is fun (the first time) though overpriced and since it is rained out so often the vendors are no longer the best. Also, crystal or diamond mining. I still (after 10 years) don’t consider it HOME though, that would be New Hampshire since my mommy lives there- and if you go there- Hampton Beach, shopping (NO SALES TAX) and fall foilage are the must dos.

3. Energy- and I don’t mean those fake shots that amp you up and make you crash- I mean real get up and go you only need an hours sleep a night energy. And happiness. True down in the gut happiness is something most of us forget a lot after childhood.

4. My first kiss was in Kindergarten- a boy’s older brother dared him to kiss me after he told him he thought I was cute and he did on top of a slide and I pushed him off and broke his arm. Good or Bad? Who remembers. It was kind of funny, though.

5. Umm the only shows I watch regularly are Burn Notice and now Fairly Legal. Anything else I can take or leave. I don’t feel guilty for either one. Then again if I watched *insert any other show on here* I wouldn’t feel guilty about it I don’t mind people thinking I’m a fool.

You guys would have absolutely no idea, but when I have nothing I can always post about coffee, the zombie apocalypse and Nickelback and/or Chad Kroeger because these are a few of my favorite things. (Not a raindrops on roses, whiskers on kittens kind of gal, what can I say) but even my fallbacks are failing me, I’ve really got nothing.

I wonder if zombies like coffee, or if they would let me go get some if I run out. Seriously, caffeinated zombies might move at the pace of a turtle instead of a snail, don’tcha think? I have always said they can feed me to the zombies first and my darling divas would do it, too, to save themselves, plus, they could get a few laughs and epic updates for their statuses, like “Zombies die of starvation because they tried to eat mom’s brains but couldn’t find anything but fluff” or “Zombies randomly start belting out Disney songs that were stuck in mom’s head”. You know- just a little bit different from what everyone else would be posting. Smartasses. They get it from me so I can’t complain, I guess. Heh- that’s two out of 3 - can’t toss Chad and the guys to the zombies because I intend to haunt them.

I don’t believe in heaven and hell as per the bible, more of a reverting back to source energy, but sometimes I think about what if it was like they say, you know, puffy clouds and harp music and crap like that. I would be asleep all the time or bored to death (groan) but really, why would you think that’s a good way to spend eternity.

If I was designing heaven it would be more of a take me to my mothership- aka Nordstrom’s shoe department, unlimited perfectly cooked food with my tastes in mind that had no calories, and I would breathe in coffee so I didn’t have to bother drinking it. Like seriously, a giant pool party all fun all the time, with shopping breaks. And lots of travel. Plus, all the cool people would be in my heaven- which of course some have eternally damned me to hell so I can roll with that, much better than floating and listening to harps.

What can I say, I found a way to fit them all in.

More random- Ki’s potluck picnic was a lot of fun for all, much better than expected turnout and after talking to the attendees (including all of us) we’ll try to make it a monthly thing.

We broke yet another phone- the crackberry- oops. No idea what happened but sheesh. So need a diva proof phone. Dev’s loving her droid but she’s not had it very long yet.

We have two new family members- two of Ken’s nieces had babies, one of each and they are adorable from the pics but while we’re pretty sure it’s allergies while we have the crud we’re staying away. Hopefully soon.

I am ready for a gigantic change in my life, only this time save the drama lest it be the drama of winning a huge amount of cash or the equivalent of something great happening.

As you can see, I am struggling to find even randomness (It’s not noon, I can’t be expected to engage my brain yet- you ask for too much) so I am going to quit while I’m ahead.
